The Fort Worth Quilt Guild (FWQG) was established in September, 2001, starting with 48 members. Membership has risen to over 100 as of 2020. New numbers will be posted soon!
✨ Our Story Through the Years The Fort Worth Quilt Guild began its journey with heartwarming service projects like the Quillow Project and ABC Quilts, generously supported by grants from IBM and Lockheed. In 2002, we launched our annual raffle quilt tradition, raising funds to support educational programs that enrich our members’ skills and creativity. The raffle quilt is celebrated bi-annually now, with a quilt being made and raffled to continue to raise funds to support the guild. Our first Quilt Show debuted in August 2008 at the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts. Since then, we’ve proudly partnered with fellow guilds to present our show as part of the North Texas Quilt Festival. This vibrant celebration of quilting has become a celebrated annual event, typically held in late July.
