North Texas Quilt Festival 2026 Theme : God Bless America Start working on your ‘theme’ quilt. Help us celebrate the 250th anniversary of the USA at our North Texas Quilt Festival next year. Mark your calendars and start thinking “Red, White, and Blue”!! Original Sewing & Quilt Expo is the place to find the latest techniques and products and learn new skills with cutting-edge education. Featuring the North Texas Quilt Festival with a Judged Quilt Show of over 300 quilts from seven local guilds, Quilt Auction and more! See aisles and aisles of breathtaking quilts brimming with artistry and creativity, competing for thousands in cash prize awards from accredited judges. Supported in part by: Bear Creek Quilt Guild, Fort Worth Modern Quilt Guild, Fort Worth Quilt Guild, Irving Quilt Guild, Quilters' Guild of Arlington, Trinity Valley Quilters Guild and Dallas Quilt Guild. VOLUNTEERS NEEDEDQuilt Guild Members and Friends
Hi everyone,
Please see above link to sign up for one or more of the areas in which the guilds are responsible for working the show. This includes quilt intake on the Sunday before the festival, set up, scribes, white glove, t-shirt sales, mini-auction, etc. please take a look and find one or more things that you are a few of your friends can do together to help represent the guild and fill much needed volunteer opportunities. (Note this is not the Expo Volunteer sign up. For that you go to the NTQF website. ) |

Prizes
Top prizes include $1,000 for Best in Show, two $700 Merit Quilted awards, five $300 awards: Judges Choice awards, Viewer's Choice, and Hand Quilting, twenty-four $200 awards for first place in each category and twenty-four $50 second place awards, an honorable mention ribbon and Expo Director's choice ribbon.
Junior Division Entry - Entry Form
(ages 17 and under)
All young makers ages 17 and under are invited to participate in the Junior Division! Your project will be displayed for all to admire throughout the event, and you’ll be eligible for ribbons and awards.
Open to ANY TEXTILE PROJECT (as long as it’s sewn)... Quilts, Quilted Items, Apparel, Stuffed Animals, Home Decor, Cosplay, Bags and more! You may enter up to three (3) projects, however, space is limited. In the case of an extraordinary number of entries, only the first entry may be considered.
Entry Deadline: 2025 - Dates to follow
To be listed in the show program, you must enter by deadline.

QUILT GUILD BOOTHS - FWQG will have a booth!
Stop by the guild booth to purchase really nice quilted and other crafted items. You can meet local quilters, visit with old friends and make new ones! Learn about guild membership benefits and spend time enjoying camaraderie with others who love to sew and quilt. You can also purchase t-shirts, show pins and other memorabilia, as well as additional handmade items and project bags.
