YOU are the program in July, and we are looking forward to seeing all your Jelly Roll Quilts.
To enter the quilt in the show, we will need a write up of the Pattern, when made, for who etc. and we will let you tell us the information in a small 3-5 min. per quilt.
After the show of Jelly Rolls, we'll roll the dice in a game of Left, Center, Right.  Please bring 5-Red, White and Blue - 2-1/2" x 42" strips to play with or purchase 5 for 2.00 at the meeting. (Money goes in our guild fund for activities.
Left, Center, Right is a dice game that may be played anywhere. It is a game of luck and strategy, where players take turns rolling three dice that have L, R, C, or dot symbols on them.   For each L, players pass a STRIP to the left; for each R, they pass a STRIP to the right; for each C, they put a STRIP in the center; and for each dot, they keep a STRIP. The last player that has STRIPS, wins the game!   Donate to Quilts of Valor or make one of your own!

David Owen Hastings
Lecture: Minimal Design, Maximum Impact

This talk ties directly into my Modern Abstract Quilts workshop, giving an overview of my process for coming up with simple graphic quilt designs, starting with stitched paper models (called maquettes). I show examples of how to translate an architectural photo into a quilt design, and have many samples of mini quilts I created using this process. The techniques I present are also great for making unique modern quilt block designs. I also talk about walking foot quilting and how to break free from stitch in the ditch.

April Program -  Join us for a fast and fun activity to learn more about color theory.
Led by our very own member Jonquelle Jone.

Jacqueline Lehto is the featured speaker for our March meeting.  Jackie has been quilting for over 23 years and has taught hundreds of people how to quilt in project classes, beginning to quilt classes, in junior and senior high school classes and she has taught 23 quilting camps  in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Texas.  You will be sure to enjoy the evening at our March meeting as she shares her wide array of quilts, which range in style from traditional to modern, and from realistic to abstract art quilts.  The one thing that all her works have in common, however, is her love of bright colors.  Her work has been juried into the American Quilters Society Des Moines, Iowa, The Road to California Show, The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show, and the Hoffman Fabric Challenge Traveling Exhibit.  She has won Viewer’s Choice on two occasions and received the Best Use of Color award.  She was awarded 3rd place in the Bed Quilt Category at the 2023 Great Wisconsin Quilt Show in Madison.   We know you will be inspired and motivated as Jackie shares her wonderful and colorful trunk show and her love of quilting with us.
