Original Sewing & Quilt Expo and North Texas Quilt Festival are bringing lots of fun and excitement to the Irving Convention Center. You can become a part of this great event by volunteering as a Guild or an Expo Ambassador and/or NTQF Volunteer!

The Ambassador Program is open to individuals as well as members of groups and guilds. As an OSQE Ambassador, you’ll earn great personal rewards, including free general admission on the day you volunteer (minimum 4-hour same-day commitment), special Expo prizes and even free class sessions!

As a NTQF Volunteer, your time is applied toward your Guild's efforts, plus courtesy admission to the Expo is provided with the minimum commitment. 
​With 100+ lectures and hands-on workshops, 300+ judged quilts, amazing traveling quilt exhibits, great shopping, trunk shows, demos by designers and gathering of new friends, this one-of-a-kind event brings together a unique, talented community of sewers and quilters for 3-days of inspiration and fun.

Quilt Show Tickets

Tickets are now on sale.  Pre show price is $12.  Tickets will be available at the meetings in June and July.  Tickets also available at local quilt shops.

2023 Quilt Show - Quilt Entry Preparation

JUNIOR DIVISION for young makers ages 18 and under. Open to any textile project (as long as it’s sewn).
Junior entry closes on 7/14/2023    JUNIOR DIVISION ENTRY 
The judged show for the Juniors includes prizes which will be awarded to the young makers!

Miniature Auction – Silent Auction

Please visit the Mini Quilt Auction Booth to bid on and/or purchase your favorite mini quilt in the auction!

​This year's auction will feature mini quilts, as well as unique handmade textile art, and bags. Items will be displayed for silent auction bids plus offered for the ‘buy it now’ price, from Thursday, August 18 - Saturday, August 19 between 10:00am -4:00pm.  Take this opportunity to bid on your favorites from a plethora of charming, miniature quilts.

The money raised from the miniature quilt auction supports our Guild so please consider purchasing an art quilt for your home or a gift.

Quilts will require sleeves, but table runners or other items will need some sort of way to hang on the same rod.  We will let you know how to turn them in.  Jonquele Jones is the coordinator for Miniature Quilts so please contact Jonquele with your questions. 

Be sure to include a 2” sleeve and a label that includes FWQG in the info.

Directions From Fort Worth
- Travel northeast on HWY 121
- Merge onto HWY 820 north, then HWY 183 (Airport Freeway) east
- Continue to travel east on HWY 183
- Exit O'Connor Boulevard
- Turn left on O'Connor Boulevard, then left on Las Colinas Boulevard
- The Convention Center will be on your left.
